I'm unfortunately very late to work on this piece but I'd like to paint the Tibetan wild yaks (Os mutus) in the Harmony category. My main idea was to represent a potential catastrophic/futuristic Tibet ravaged by floods and earthquakes in the background (due to global warming after effects)and have 2 proud yaks (a wild as well as a domestic one) and a friendly kid in the foreground, sounds good but with almost no time left I'll skip the details :) they are supposed to symbolize the reconstruction of the area by a new generation working harmoniously along with the local animals. Reflecting a mother swan leading its young is a very old island shaped like a swan with 3 boats representing her young making their way to the cemetery on the back hill side of the swan. to pay respect or to bury their own. The swan represents nature and we are her children. The somber tone was chosen to show how grim we treat that which provides us life. 　[Hide]

In my sculpture I want to raise a topic of global deforestation. Family of pandas has nothing to eat except a few leaves on the gnawed tree. Now they are facing imminent death. People's desire of gain can kill not only one animal species. It's time to stop the destruction and take care about nature of our planet alltogether. I hope I managed to develop a theme. Reciprocal, mutual. In this illustration I wanted to portray the mutual understanding and actions between animals and humans, sharing the same world, and showing the same affection. The baby panda is taken in arms by the woman, which is an action of love, protection. On the other side, the little girl is being protected and loved by the big panda, sharing the mutual connection between the four characters. At the same time, they interact with three other animals, making the connection widely and stronger. That's how I see humans should relate to animals, because we're living beings and should respect each other.　[Hide]
