Speaking of Aegypius monachus, the first impression comes into mind is always "Death eater",while scarvenger plays an important role in echo system.Instead of use dark weather like always depiciting vultur, I use blue sky and high contrast environment to show their cool minded elegance. 说起兀鹰，人们往往想到的是其食腐性，这多少有点让人感到不快。但同时它们在整个生态中也起着不容忽视的作用。所以我特地的把它们放在蓝天白云下，用高反差同时让它们整体自然融合在环境之中。 　[Hide]

The Himalayan Monal is one of the most beautiful birds I have ever seen. I felt the bird spoke my style of choice closely because of its beautiful plumage. I thought it was rather odd to see such a colorful creature in a mundane environment of snow and rock. I wanted to depict a contrast and express such a rarity a lot of us do not have the opportunity to witness. Everything seems dead and dull but the bird emanates life.　[Hide]

It´s an old saying in Norway, that every artist makes a Moose in a Sunset once during their career (Moose in one of the national animals in Norway). So this is my take on the subject. He has almost no friends, often go to bed hungry and live in an old abandoned cabin in the wood. But he has a very close and dear friend - a little monkey. They met suddenly in the wood, at first they were afraid of each other. But then they started seeing more and more frequently, and finally became good friends. They both are lonely, both suffer from cruelty and injustice of our world, but genuinely happy finding each other. Their friendship, like sunbeam, supports and helps them to survive all the hardships and difficulties. They understand each other without words, because of inside harmony between man and wild nature.　[Hide]

This picture illustrates the strongest bond in the nature, one between a mother and her cub. Mother is scared, prepared to protect her baby and run for shelter, while baby is calm, and unaware of the harsh world surrounding her. I was passionate to show calmness of a newborn on one, and the distress of a mother, on the other side.　[Hide]

The elegant beauty and charm of the Japanese Crested Ibis (Nipponia Nippon) inspired me to create this painting. I was struck by the stark contrast of the red skin against the beauty of the white plumage. It saddens me that such a beautiful creature has been brought to the brink of extinction and so I am very glad to have had the opportunity to create this painting.
