Competition Overview

Civilization and harmony are the trend both time and human society is following. However, animals die out while buildings spring out. Along with the rapid economy development, the wild animals’ living condition becomes worse and worse. Birds lost their companions and beasts lost their herds. The weak and disappearing biologic chain tolls the alarm for worldwide environment protection. In recent 100 years, the speed of species’ extinction is 100 times faster than the natural rate; every day over 100 species disappear from the world forever. Even so, nowadays people’s sense of wild animals’ protection is still very vague, which is a terribly worrying situation.

“Share One Planet” Wild Animals CG Art Elites Invitational Competition is the first global competition of “Share One Planet” series. The competition will invite CG masters worldwide to take part in. Winners will not only be amply awarded with cash, but also will receive special designed golden, silver and copper trophies. Winning entries of the competition will be first exhibited in China and then toured internationally. Organizers hope the platform of “Share One Planet” can be built for encouraging artists to create meaningful and inspiring CG works to our times, and for promoting great CG artists and also for raising attention to wild animals even global environment protection by using the power of art.
